My Name is Safia and whilst being a Mum of 3, I also own and co run multiple profitable businesses.
The story goes like this, I used to sell phones back when I was at university. I enjoyed sales and was fast paced to Team Leader. I did that for around 4 years, then got married to my husband in 2010 and used my background in Sales and Marketing to double his companies turnover in a period of 18months. I grew teams, implemented process, managed the marketing and quickly took on a more senior role of CCO allowing me to manage and steer the companies global strategic growth. I sat on a board with 7 male executives all much older than I was whilst working in a male dominated industry.
I had my first Child back in 2014 and returned to work taking her and our Nanny into the office at 5 weeks old. Pumping between meetings, checking in when I could with raging hormones desperately trying to prove I could still do my job.
I then had my second child in 2018 and after suffering with poor mental health post children I had this fire in my belly whilst working extremely unsociable hours to start a business of my own. I always found an excuse in my head. “Now wasn’t the right time” or “we need the money so I need to stay in my job” I didn’t have the support and my lack of confidence post children was at it peak.
My money was always going into the household pot and I really wanted to be able to just have my own financial freedom.
My third child was born in 2020 during a difficult time for the world, so whilst everyone was working from home I took that leap of faith. Created a logo, made a page on IG and started doing what I did best. Network marketing. The Mum Hub was born in 2021.
Some of you will know the core of this business is supporting Women & Mothers Mental Welbeing by running Brunch events focus on a Female business expert sharing practical tips and knowledge on a particular topic that effects us Women. Ranging from Anxiety as a modern day mother, to Perimenopause and Hormone Health just to name a few...
35 Brunch's later and a strong following of almost 5000, I took some time to reflect on the thousands of women I had met in person and virtually. So many were female business owners. I started thinking, how can I use my knowledge to help these women achieve financial independence and really understand what it takes to grow their passion?
How could I support and encourage them and give them a clear strategy they could use to reach their audience?
The Mum hub Group was created with the sole purpose of showing female business owners how they can fully understand and grow their passion
